Scheme, from the famous DR.Culcer. We used this one and it has been very good so far. It starts after 6 months, and for very fat people after 4-5 months. Replace the 2nd meal of the day at the beginning, ie the meal at 10 o'clock. Start with carrot juice, apple juice, separately or together & a spoonful on the first day, then 2 then 4, about 20 ml, then 40 ml , then 60, 100 ml, add the fruit pulp, banana apple a little. It stays in place for 2-3 days, to see how the child reacts, then add the mixed banana, one teaspoon, two to half a banana. The fruit puree must be semi-fluid, to flow. In the mixture of apple or banana, other juices or fruits can be introduced in progressive quantities. Then you need to add to this meal proteins in the form of cow's cheese 1-2 to 4-6 teaspoons or biscuit powder up to the same amount. The biscuits should be browned in the oven and swollen with hot tea and then mixed in the fruit puree. The fruit mixes alternate, do not give the same kind of puree for more than 2 days. TABLE 3 Vegetable Soup. Vegetable puree. The soup is made from carrots, celery parsnips, potatoes, bell peppers and boil with a little salt and oil. At the beginning, just give the juice with 1-2 measures of instant rice, 30 ml, 60 ml, up to 200. After getting used to the soup, start with the vegetable puree. It is also administered progressively, with a little butter, then put in the vegetable puree, in turn egg yolk, chicken breast [hard boiled egg yolk, at first a quarter, and the meat a teaspoon & # 8230 and gradually grow] poultry liver, fish. 4TH MEAL at 6 pm, after 7-8 months, it is replaced with yogurt with or without fruit, polenta with cheese and sour cream, boiled papanasi. Up to 2 and a half years and over, the child must receive 2 meals of milk a day.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOOD There are foods that are not good for babies and should not be introduced until a certain age. These foods include:

Bee honey and corn syrup Both foods should be avoided until the age of one year. They contain bacterial spores that can cause a form of botulism.

Danger of suffocation The foods listed below are dangerous due to the lack of teeth and the coordination of the mouth / tongue. Offering these foods too early presents an increased risk of suffocation / drowning. It is recommended to introduce these foods after the age of 2-3 years.

-fresh fresh fruit or vegetables (uncooked)

-sunflower seeds

Nitrate-rich foods Nitrate-rich foods (may be vegetables or meat) can cause anemia and should be avoided until the child is 8 months old.

VEGETABLES: beets, carrots, green beans, spinach

SUGAR, SALT AND COFFEE: As a general rule, foods rich in salt, sugar and caffeine usually do not contain many minerals and vitamins. So avoid them!

The foods are introduced one by one, with a break of 3-4 days between them, so that in case of allergic reactions it will be easy for you to realize what caused them. First give the child half a teaspoon, even if he would like more and you are tempted to give it to him. The amount increases progressively every day.

At what age do you start?

Diversification is the period in which foods other than milk are gradually introduced. These will be given with a teaspoon. Today, nutritionists recommend that the diversification of infant nutrition should be done neither too early nor too abruptly. Up to 4 months, the baby only needs milk to develop normally. From 5-6 months, however, milk no longer fully covers its nutritional needs and now you need to start giving it something else. Therefore, in a healthy child, diversification begins around the age of 4-5 months and continues, progressively, until the child turns 18-24 months.

Why is it not good to start earlier? First of all because, up to 4 months, the baby's digestive system is still immature and is not ready to accept new foods. Also, the mastication reflex is not well developed. Another reason is that the premature introduction of other foods promotes allergies. In addition, if you give up a milk meal too early in favor of another food, there is a risk that the calcium intake will be insufficient, which can later affect the development of the baby's bones and teeth.

Instant flour and vegetable soup

Many mothers strive to keep the basic rules. You don't have to do that. Diversification requires flexibility - you have to adapt the "rules" to your child's needs. However, for a start it is good that after each new food introduced a few days pass. This way the child will have time to get used to everything that the new food brings: taste, consistency, color.

The first foods introduced are fruits, vegetables and cereals for children. Followed by meat, fish (eggs in very small quantities), and only then foods that contain fat.

At 4 months . At 4 months they eat only milk, about six bottles a day, at an interval of 3 hours (most children do not wake up at night to eat). If your little one has an increased appetite, you can give him 7-8 bottles a day.

Do not forget! If the baby is fed powdered milk, the pediatrician may recommend diversifying the diet earlier than 4 months.

At 5 months. From 5 months the child will eat 5 times a day. Now you can dissolve instant rice flour, semolina, oats, tapioca or corn in evening milk (in stores and pharmacies there are various special cereals for babies). Why in the evening? Cereals (preferably gluten-free for up to 6 months) are more consistent and will keep them hungry overnight. At lunch you can bottle strained vegetable soup or you can give 1-2 teaspoons of vegetable puree (carrot, potato, zucchini) enriched with milk and butter or fruit (banana, apple, pear). You can also prepare the fruits in the form of compote. All this will bring him extra vitamins, calcium, potassium and iron. Don't forget! Don't give him more than one new food at a table. Cheese, meat and eggs Once you get used to the taste of the first solid foods, you can offer a greater variety of vegetables and fruits. At 6 months, in some cases even at the end of the 5th month, the baby's diet can be enriched with chicken, fish, eggs and various dairy products. For desserts and snacks, offer cottage cheese, natural yogurt, ripe and crushed fruits.

At 6 months. The child also eats 5 meals a day. In the morning and at 10:00 a bottle of milk enriched with 2 tablespoons of cereal flour. Lunch will consist of: puree of legu-me to which was added a little butter or sweet cottage cheese (between 1/2 and 3 teaspoons) 20 g of chicken or fish (3-4 times per week) mixed or half a boiled egg yolk yogurt, melted cheese as a dessert. The snack from 16:00 will include a fruit compote with a biscuit and a bottle of milk. At dinner you can eat a cream soup or a vegetable puree (to which you added a little sweet cottage cheese) and a fruit compote. Do not forget! The egg white is not given to the child until after one year.

At 7–8 months. Eat only 4 times a day, but the amounts of food will be higher. Thus, morning milk should be enriched with 3-4 tablespoons of cereal flour. The snack from 10:00 will include, in addition to milk, 1-2 biscuits or a tablespoon of fruit compote. At lunch you can give him 20 g of meat (chicken, fish) or poultry liver, a vegetable puree with butter or oil, a fruit compote and a dairy product (yogurt, cheese). For the evening, prepare a vegetable puree, and for dessert a dairy product. From eight months you can introduce legumes (beans, soy, lentils, peas, etc.). Now is the time to start offering food "in pieces", which the child should chew.

If you miss the "opportunity", in the future the child will find it harder to accept other solid foods. Instead of mashed vegetables, try to give him vegetable porridge. Offer small pieces of biscuits, toast, biscuits, finely chopped carrots or baked potatoes, minced meat (meatballs), sour soup with borscht or lemon. Do not forget! Use salt and sugar in small amounts.

He starts eating alone

From now on, the little one will not eat mashed foods mixed with soups. He will enjoy tasting purees made from a single vegetable. Its menu needs to be further diversified. You will continue to give him food until now, but in larger quantities, depending on his appetite.

From 9 to 12 months. Your diet will evolve a little. Her teeth have grown and she is much better at chewing. You will eat more and more solid or semi-solid foods. He can eat snacks on his own, so give him biscuits, a piece of bread, a biscuit. From now on, you will usually consume raw vegetables and purees of vegetables, pasta, rice. Make sure you give him vegetables, fruits, milk and dairy products daily. Once a week give him an egg yolk, and three times a week 30 g of chicken or fish. Do not forget! Take into account his tastes and do not force him to eat what you notice that he systematically refuses.

Foods to avoid:

Cow's milk can cause allergies and is difficult to digest. Do not use it until the little one is one year old.

honey - may contain a type of bacterium that causes botulism

fatty, overly spicy foods and fried foods

soft drinks - offer only 100% natural juices, either prepared by you or special ones for babies

nuts can cause allergies and drown them

egg whites - do not give them egg whites until after the age of 12 months

Consultant: Dr. Mioara Prala, pediatric specialist

to soufflés you need vegetables (usually use pumpkin / cauliflower / broccoli or even a mixture of all these plus carrots, mushrooms and whatever else you want), cheese / cheese, eggs, greens (dill), salt. The amount of vegetables is relatively equal to that of cheese / cheese. The number of eggs is & # 8222 by eye & # 8221. Not too much, not to become an omelet. Boil the vegetables, drain them and, after they cool, mix them with grated cheese or grated cheese, depending on what you think is appropriate (eg I put telemea for pumpkin, and for cheese cauliflower, that's how I like it), with the yolks, greenery and salt. Then add the beaten egg whites. Pour the composition into a well-greased form and put in the oven, over medium heat, approx. 30 min. You can serve it with a little sour cream or yogurt on top. Fish soufflé, with fish (cod) boiled and cleaned of bones and skin, cheese, eggs, spices. puddings you need two types of vegetables (eg cauliflower and mushrooms) or a vegetable and meat (eg cauliflower and chicken breast), eggs, sour cream, grated cheese, salt. Boil the vegetables, drain and place alternate layers in a greased bowl. Sprinkle a little more salt between. If you use meat, it must be prepared in advance (boiled, cooked, etc.) and chopped or finely chopped. Separately mix sour cream, eggs (1-2, depending on the size of the bowl), grated cheese, salt, greens. The mixture is poured evenly over the layers. The vessel is put on medium heat for about 30 min. You can also make pudding with just one vegetable and cheese, all layers, one of boiled vegetable, one of cheese, and on top, whipped cream with eggs and cheese.

Foods are grouped into 5 categories:

protein: meat, cheese, eggs

carbohydrates: bread, cereals, potatoes, rice

sweet: sugar, honey, jam, dried fruit

acids: vinegar, pickles, fruits

fats: oil, butter, egg yolk

Each food needs certain enzymes for digestion and a specific digestion time. If inappropriate combinations are made, digestion can be slowed or stopped, gas and stomach upset can occur.

Some of these principles are:

the fruits should be eaten alone, on an empty stomach or at most with yogurt & # 8211 if consumed after a meal or with other foods, digestion slows down and the sugar in them begins to ferment = bloating

vegetables (except potatoes) can be eaten with protein
Inappropriate combinations:

protein + carbohydrates & # 8211 proteins are digested in a longer time and carbohydrates begin to ferment

protein + sweets & # 8211 as well

carbohydrates + acids & # 8211 stops digestion

Infant feeding diversification scheme

Diversifying the baby's diet means introducing other foods in addition to milk in the baby's daily menu. It is an important stage in the child's life, which is necessary, because his nutritional needs are increasing and can no longer be fully covered by the dairy diet.

As a rule, diversification begins at 4 months for artificially fed babies and to 6 months for those fed naturally , and in parallel, the condition that the baby has reached the limit of 6 kilograms .

The principles of diversification are:

It starts in a healthy baby, without any signs of disease

Only one new food is introduced at a time, in order to test the child's tolerance, it starts with small quantities and will go progressively until the complete replacement of a milk table.

Try feeding with a teaspoon, with the child sitting

If the baby refuses a certain food, it will not be insisted, it will be given up, then its administration will be resumed after a few days.

The food used to feed the baby should be fresh, homemade, preferably without preservatives, spices, without salt or sugar, until the age of 1 year.

Baby stools will be monitored if vomiting occurs, and weight gain will be monitored.

It will start with cereals instantly mixed with milk, in the case of hypotrophic children (weaker), or with vegetable soup, in eutrophic (normal weight) or hypertrophic (overweight) children. Cereals are preferably administered at dinner, the bottle will initially look for gluten-free, more difficult for infants to digest up to 6 months. Vegetable soup is administered at lunch are used for its preparation initially only roots (carrots, celery, bleach), then potatoes, zucchini, peppers, onions, etc., respecting the rule of gradual introduction. It is allowed to add a teaspoon of oil to the soup, to increase its caloric and nutritional value. In the first days, only the juice is administered, starting with 20-30 ml, then it will be increased with 20-30 ml / day up to 100 ml, after which the boiled and mashed vegetables will be added, also in progressively increased quantities.

The third meal that will be replaced is the one from 10 -11, when the fruit juices (apple, orange, peach) and the carrot juice are introduced, followed by its & # 8222 thickening & # 8221 with the pulp of the mentioned fruits, plus, in depending on the season, others: apricot, pear, grape. The administration of bananas and kiwis with rich vitamin and mineral content, but with allergenic potential, is therefore controversial, therefore recommended by some doctors after the age of 1 year. In all cases, the introduction of these new foods will be supplemented with milk that the baby usually receives it at that time, the complete replacement is made only when the new food has an increased consistency (puree) and the baby receives 120 & # 8211 150 g of that food.

At the age of about 6-7 months, after the baby has become accustomed to the 3 different meals, the cow's cheese will be added, usually mixed with the fruit puree. Later, the meat will be introduced in the vegetable puree catch chicken, beef or mixed fish, in progressively increased quantities. Twice a week you can give hard boiled egg yolk instead of meat. As garnishes you can replace the vegetable puree with spinach, rice, ciulama (white sauce) you can prepare meatballs with rice or semolina dumplings, made only with egg yolk.

From 8 months you can introduce in the diet plain yogurt, natural, small amounts of butter and sour cream, added to the lunch table or forming a separate meal (from 17: 00-18: 00), along with polenta or pasta (taietei). From this age bread, biscuits, homemade diet cakes (papanasi, for example) are allowed. The baby will be encouraged to hold these foods in his hand and eat alone.
After 9 months you can easily change the taste of foods with lemon, borscht, added to soups or garlic in white or tomato sauces. Basically, as he approaches a year, the child will be able to eat cooked food, very varied, similar to the rest of the family, with restriction to salt, fried foods, spices, raw egg / egg white, even prepared, pork, animal / vegetable fats in increased amounts.
From the age of one year, the used milk powder can be replaced with cow's milk, but for breastfeeding mothers, it is very good not to breastfeed the baby, if lactation is present and the baby still shows interest in sucking.

Totally forbidden up to one year are:

Peanuts, nuts, other seeds (danger of drowning)

Fried, fatty, spicy foods

With the beginning of diversification, it will be taken into account that the infant must also receive liquids in sufficient quantity & # 8211 flat mineral water, homemade fruit juices, tea.

Throughout the diversification period, parents should keep in touch with the child's doctor, who will monitor the child's nutritional status and the evolution of the weight curve. One thing must be kept in mind, namely that each child has his appetite and his pace of growth and development, so he should not be compared with other children, but evaluated clinically by the doctor.

Diversification & # 8211 order of food introduction and quantity according to age :

4 months carrot juice, apples, gradually introduction

4.5 months and juice of peaches, tomatoes, grapes

5 months vegetable soup with 3-5% rice flour with the addition of 2-3% corn or olive oil

5.5 months vegetable puree (from those cooked in soup), fruit puree (apples, peaches, bananas)

5.5 months mixed meat (not pork), make up the 13 o'clock lunch from meat soup with meat, alternating with vegetable soup, oil, butter, vegetable puree

5.5 months egg yolk 2-3 times a week in soup

6 months calcium cheese in soup or puree (sometimes even earlier in children with weight loss), increases the granulation of food

7 months yogurt (well accepted by the child)

8-9 months cheese puddings, semolina dumplings, homemade cakes with tender dough, boiled crème, papanas, bread, meatballs, polenta

9 months biscuits, white sauce, soufflés

12 months whole egg, fat-free pressed ham, cow's milk, fermented cow's cheese.

Recommendations in the diversification of infant nutrition

The baby must be healthy when a new food is introduced

Individualization of the first diversification - the infant with normal IP, will receive vegetable soup or fruit puree (at 5 months) & # 8211 the infant with IP under normal age can receive a floury (not semolina)

The caloric value of the preparation should be 65 - 70 Kcal / 100 gr

The new preparation will be introduced gradually

No more than one preparation per week

The appearance of digestive disorders makes it necessary to stop the preparation for a while

The child's aversion to food will make it necessary to replace it and not force the child

Novel foods must be proposed and not imposed

New food will not be sweetened

The success of diversification depends on the training of the mother, the education of the entourage (grandparents !!), and last but not least on the personality of the child (who will always emerge victorious from confrontations and "defeated" by the mother's diplomacy).

The ascending weight curve and normal psycho-motor development is the best criterion in assessing the success of diversification.

The child's autonomy must be encouraged and in no case punished.

7. Breastfeeding diets

a) natural diet - breast milk

b) mixed feeding (2-3 months) - complete, alternating, or by weaning breast milk - breast milk and age-appropriate milk preparations

Merry Christmas !

Banat pancakes

- vanilla sauce (I made it with vanilla pudding but with more milk in the composition so that it comes out softer)

- a tablespoon of ground walnuts

- peel of half a lemon

- chocolate or fruit topping

The pancakes are made. Separately in a bowl mix the cheese with the egg, vanilla sugar, a tablespoon of sugar, lemon peel and raisins.

With this cream we will fill the pancakes that we will put in an ena bowl, on top we put plenty of vanilla sauce or pudding depending on what you have then we mix the egg whites with 5 tablespoons of sugar and half a bottle of rum essence until we get the composite as bezel.

We put the meringue by hand over the pancakes, place it as we like, sprinkle the walnuts on top and put the dish in the oven for 20 minutes at 180-200 degrees depending on the oven, until we get a brown color in the meringue.

Remove the dish from the oven, place the topping we want on top and serve hot.

Menemen (vegetable pots) with baked feta cheese with lemon and olives - Recipes

Travel goes hand in hand with gastronomy and I must admit: the more I travel, the more I become an amateur of local delicacies. I try to refrain as much as I can, but I'm very greedy, so I like to try local varieties everywhere.

Sardines from Portugal, seafood from Greece, lobster from exotic islands, ceviche in Peru, kasekrainer in Germany, fondue in France, pickled artichokes in Italy, falafel and kunefele from Arab countries… all have an equally special place in my agenda as well as promenade places.

I know that you are, like me, lovers of local dishes and, therefore, together with Fromageria.ro we thought of a contest that would make us all salivate with lust. They promote several assortments of French cheeses, and on their website you can find recipes for them, but you can find the products in all the supermarkets and hypermarkets in Romania.

I invite you to answer, through a comment here on the blog, the question: what is the best dish (specific to that place) you tried on a vacation and where did you test it?

It can be dessert, snack or main course, the only requirement is to be somehow specific to that place (ie not to be an international dish like: chicken breast with french fries, pizza or Caesar salad). Do not forget to mention the preparation, along with the destination where you tried it. Leave the full name and email address.

What can you earn?

For this contest, the importing company Nordic, through the Fromageria.ro website, offers a package of French cheeses. The package will include:

  • Roquefort cheese 100g Merci Chef
  • La Galette 175g Paisan Breton
  • Madame Loik 150g Paisan Breton
  • Cheese knife
  • Cheese platter

For such goodies, it is enough to put next to the cheeses some nuts sprinkled with honey, grapes, crackers (crackers) and ready, you made a delicious brunch.

You can register for the contest until Friday, April 28, at 24:00.

The winner will be drawn by lot using Random.org and will be announced a few days after the contest. The award will be sent directly by Nordic Import Export.
